Embroidery needles have a slender shaft and sharp point that’s designed to pierce embroidery fabric easily. They have a medium/long eye to make it easier to thread with multiple strands of stranded cotton.

DMC Embroidery needles come in sizes 1-10, the smaller the number the larger the needle so a size 10 embroidery needle is the finest we sell. Size 7,5 and 3 embroidery needles are also known as crewel needles, deriving their name from a traditional style of embroidery that uses a fine 2-ply woollen thread.
