Merino Shetland from Katia offers and original rustic effect. It is made of little fine threads in other tones, which create a special marbled effect. This model contains virgin merino wool and viscose fibres which will make your pieces soft and comfortable. Merino Shetland is a perfect yarn for making patterned jumpers for both adults and kids. This yarn adds comfort and warmth to winter cardigans and kids coats. The soft Merino Shetland colours offer a variety of possibilities for making cable hats and textured scarves. Technical specifications: This is a medium weight yarn and we recommend using size 6 – 7 (U.S.)/(4 – 4.5 mm) knitting needles and size G6 - 7 (U.S.)/(4 – 4.5 mm) crochet hooks. 9 balls of yarn are required to make a size 12 woman’s long sleeve jumper. To make a 4x4” tension square work 17 sts and 23 rows. Machine wash up to 30º C on a wool cycle. Do not tumble dry.
